Someone was kind enough to tip the National Catholic Register off about my appeal and they added Paul’s blog about me to their “Blog Watch” for this week.
If you would like to read his entry, which is very funny, it can be found at his blog at Alive and Young.
Our friend over at The Clam Rampant found our entry about St Francis de Sales to be helpful. It is a great reflection on her conversion and I encourage everyone to give her some traffic and support.
Also, aside from my appeal over at The Curt Jester, I feel that the conversation about student loans and religious life which has started in the comment area is worth reading.
Also, today I have OFFICALLY finished every single thing I needed to do before I enter in terms of paperwork for the Salesian Sisters, DEO GRATIAS. It is a huge burden off of my shoulders. Now I can go over to a friend’s house this evening and watch movies and not feel guilty because I am putting something off.
Also, if anyone is looking for a great Catholic forum, dUST at Phatmass has just revamped it. I am over there, off and on. MY SN is philosobrat (I will explain it someday).
Also, Sundays between 4-6pm (CST) everyone is welcome to attend the weekly Vocation Chat. Unfortunately the link for the chatroom is missing from the main page, but we “Phatmass Peeps” can hook you up.
If you have never visited Phatmass I suggest that you take a look. You can get answers to your questions about the faith, make friends, find vocation resources, and waste time on the Lame Board, in a totally Catholic way (which somehow makes it seem less like a waste when you are doing it in a Catholic forum). My favorite haunt is the Vocation Station and Open Mic.
Let me know if there are any good Catholic blogs or websites which I should take a look at.
